Vesper Energy is seeking a Solar Site Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operations of a 600 MW A/C utility-scale solar facility; one of the largest in the nation.

What You’ll Do:
- Command daily operations of a flagship solar site, driving performance and accountability.
- Lead with authority, manage contractors, vendors, and service providers with high expectations.
- Solve problems in real-time, troubleshoot underperformance, and implement solutions with speed.
- Champion safety and compliance, ensuring zero-compromise standards.
- Own plant performance metrics and align results with Vesper’s central operations, engineering, and asset management teams.
- Serve as the face of the site with landowners, regulators, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Optimize efficiency; manage budgets, track costs, and deliver reliable results.
- Push continuous improvement; drive reliability, availability, and long-term performance.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, operations management, or related field.
- Equivalent military, technical, or vocational training considered.
- 3+ years in solar, renewable energy, or power plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of inverters, trackers, transformers, and SCADA systems.
- Natural leadership; clear, confident, and uncompromising on standards.
- Experience enforcing contractor performance and managing site safety and environmental compliance.
- Proactive mindset; see problems before they arise and drive solutions.
- Certifications such as NABCEP, OSHA, or PMP preferred.
