This Engineering Specialist role is ideal for a methodical thinker and problem-solver who thrives on data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and technical excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Optimize Engineering Processes – Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and standardization.
- Develop & Automate Tools – Create workflows and automation tools to improve engineering evaluations, reporting, and data management.
- Enhance System Modeling & Analysis – Support energy production simulations, interconnection studies, and system optimization.
- Collaborate with Experts – Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and industry stakeholders to implement best practices.
- Ensure Technical Rigor – Maintain documentation, refine design standards, and contribute to feasibility studies and risk assessments.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in solar, energy storage, or related fields.
- Strong expertise in PV system design, energy modeling, and technical analysis (AutoCAD, PVSyst, SAM, GIS).
- Experience in process automation, engineering data analytics, and workflow optimization.
- A structured approach to problem-solving, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in project management tools, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for renewable energy innovation and efficiency.
