An Experienced Team of Energy Professionals

Our Company

Vesper Energy provides innovative solutions to today’s complex energy challenges. Headquartered in the greater Dallas area, Vesper Energy is comprised of professionals who have collectively delivered more than 10 GW of renewable energy projects globally. Today, our pipeline includes over 49 renewable energy and storage projects with a generating capacity of 16 GW; enough to power more than 2 million homes. Working with our customers, communities, and business partners, we develop, own, and operate renewable energy projects across the United States with the goal to build a better energy infrastructure.

Our Experience

Our History

Founded in 2015 as Lendlease Energy Development, our team has delivered over 700 MW of renewable energy projects into commercial operation. In 2020, following the acquisition by Magnetar Capital, the company was rebranded as Vesper Energy. Since then, we have grown our pipeline and quadrupled our portfolio of renewable energy and energy storage projects all while expanding our footprint to cover more of the country. Most recently in 2023, GCM Grosvenor joined the company as an equity owner, and their investment will contribute to our continued growth and success.

With our diverse and experienced team, our growing pipeline of renewable energy projects, and the strength of our financial partners and investors, we are prepared and eager to build a clean energy infrastructure.
