Irving, Texas – Vesper Energy announced today the appointment of Vivian Chung as Vice President, Controller & Treasurer. She will lead the organization’s accounting and treasury functions, focusing on financial reporting & accounting operations, audit, financial compliance, and cash management.

Based in Orange County, California, Chung brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, investor relations, treasury and liquidity management within the renewable energy sector.

Before joining Vesper Energy, Chung served as Vice President, Controller & Treasurer at esVolta, where she built and led both the accounting & treasury teams. Her earlier roles include positions at NRG Energy, Clearway Energy Group, and Edison Mission Energy, with responsibilities spanning portfolio management, financial reporting, and accounting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with minors in Finance and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine.
