Featured Projects

Gaucho Solar Project

Gaucho Solar

Vesper Energy’s Gaucho Solar project reached commercial operations in June 2023. It is a 20 MW facility situated on 61 acres in Allegheny and Beaver Counties, Pennsylvania. The project utilizes solar photovoltaic technology mounted on a fixed-tilt racking system and interconnects to Duquesne Light Company’s transmission system in PJM. Gaucho Solar provides all of its electricity to the University of Pittsburgh. See video here.

Hornet Solar

Vesper Energy’s Hornet Solar project is situated on 4,000 acres in Swisher County, TX. The project is in commercial operation with a nameplate capacity of 600MWac/745MWdc. The project utilizes solar photovoltaic technology on a single-axis tracking system. Hornet Solar interconnects to Oncor Electric’s transmission system in ERCOT, and is contracted with a Fortune 100 company under a long-term power purchase agreement.
