We’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager who thrives on complexity, precision, and results. Someone who can see the big picture and the fine print; leading cross-functional teams to turn ideas into projects that perform.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead EPC preconstruction for large-scale solar and energy storage projects.
- Negotiate EPC contracts and align scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, procurement, legal, and finance to keep every piece moving.
- Review technical designs and interconnect studies for constructability and cost optimization.
- Drive project controls; budgets, cashflow, RFPs, and vendor management.
- Manage contractors, consultants, and estimating teams to deliver on schedule and under budget.
- Collaborate across disciplines to push projects from concept to construction handoff.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience (minimum 3) managing renewable energy preconstruction projects.
- Experience negotiating EPC or major construction contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable making data-driven decisions.
- Technical depth in solar, BESS, and construction processes.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly under pressure.
Bonus Points:
- Battery storage or EPC contractor experience.
